Electric Vehicle Sales in India Cross 1 Million Mark

India achieved a historic milestone as electric vehicle sales crossed the one million mark in the first five months of 2026.

Two-wheelers account for 65% of EV sales, while passenger cars make up 28%, led by the Tata Nexon EV.
