15 SIs promoted

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, June 7: Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda today promoted 15 Sub-Inspectors of J&K Executive Police to the rank of Inspectors in the pay scale of Rs 6500-200-10500 with immediate effect.

The promotees are Mohammad Akbar, number 4472, Satvinder Singh number 4380, Gurmeet Singh number 4365, Basanti Bhat number 4366, Davinder Singh number 4426, Fayaz Ahmed Dar number 4509, Mahesh Sharma number 4441, Surdeep Singh Jamwal 4415, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat number 4508, Munish Kumar number 4428, Niaz-ul-Hassan number 4404, Sultan Mehmood number 4436, Shabinder Singh number 4438, Vinod Kumar number 4432 and Mohammad Yousuf Dar number 4493.

The order said that Sub-Inspector Mohammad Akbar who was earlier brought on Promotion List-F of J&K Executive Police vide PHQ Order number 2755 of 2007 dated August 13, 2007, shall be deemed to have been promoted as Inspector with effect from December 31, 2007, the date when his juniors were promoted vide PHQ Order number 3999 of 2007 dated December 31, 2007.

However, in order of seniority he will figure below the name of Inspector Nissar Ahmad number 4504-NGO and Inspector Khurshid-ur-Rehman number 4475-NGO.
