17 injured in accident

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 2: Seventeen passengers were injured, three of them critically, when a minibus in which they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Malhar Morh Raini in Ramnagar Tehsil of district Udhampur last night.

The technical snag in the minibus coupled with the failure of driver to control the vehicle while reversing it resulted in mishap.

Police reports said that seventeen passengers suffered injuries when a matador skidded of the road and fell into gorge last night.

The ill fated matador bearing registration number JK02AG-3715 was on its way from Ramnagar to Udhampur when the mishap occurred.

Seriously injured were admitted to Udhampur hospital while others were discharged after first-aid from SDH ramnagar.
