19 injured in road mishaps

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 7: Nineteen person including two cops were injured in different road accidents here since late night.

Police reports said that Selection Grade Constable Mohammed Shafi (number 1993/J) sustained injuries when his scooter slipped at Stadium Morh Channi Himmat.

Injured was shifted to the hospital in Amritsar for treatment.

A truck on its way from Jammu to Srinagar hit Head Constable Mohammad Sultan Bhat of IRP 9th Battalion, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat resident of Bijbehara Anantnag near Noton Bhoom National Hi9ghway-IA Chanderkote, resulting in his injuries to him.

Injured was shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.

Police has registered a case in this regard.

A Tata Sumo on way from Srinagar to Jammu rolled down at Shaitani Nallah resulting injuries to four personals of SSB 37 Battalion.

They were identified as Naik Lekh Raj (number 9166172), son of Dulo Ram, Havaldar Vaid Parkash (number 92788159), son of Bishan Ram, Ajay Sharma son of Krishan Dev, Lance Naik Deepaka Kumar (number 9368533), son of Kesar Singh Jamwal.

All injured were shifted to EH Ramban for treatment.
