2 injured in mishaps

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 18: Two persons were injured in two different accidents in different road mishap today.

Police said that an ill fated truck bearing registration number JK05B- 0465 skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at National Highway in Nashri near lucky Dhaba, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chanderkote resulting in injuries to Nadeem Ahmad Bhat son of Barkat Ali of Khanpora Baramulla.

Police said the injured person has been shifted to EH Ramban for treatment.

Police has registered a case at Police Station Chanderkote.

In another incident, a bus bearing registration number 1141-JK02D driven by Sukdev son Dev Raj residence of Ambalarh in Ramnagar on way from Ramnagar to Udhampur met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving at Modi Chowk, Ramnagar.

Due to the negligence of driver it resulted into injuries to Om Prakash son of Amar Nath residence of Ward number 7 Ramnagar.

Police along with locals rushed the injured person to District Hospital Udhampur for treatment.

Police have registered a case FIR number 01/09 under section 279/337 RPC stand registered at police station Ramnagar.
