2 motorcycles stolen

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, June 20: Two motorcycles including one belonging to a doctor have reportedly been stolen from different places since last night.

Police said that one motor cycle bearing registration number JK02B-5587 has been stolen from Surya Motor Garage near Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar Jammu.

Similarly, another motorcycle bearing registration number JK02Q-7093 belonging to Dr Arun Koul, son of PL Koul of Ishwar Nagar Udhaywalla Bhori Jammu has been stolen from GMC parking Jammu.

Police have taken cognizance and all nakas have been alerted regarding the thefts.

Housewife succumbs to burns KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, June 20: A young housewife succumbed to her burns at the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital while another was hospitalized after she sustained burns at her residence today.

Police reports said that a housewife succumbed to her burns at the GMC hospital today.

The deceased has been identified as Shahsi Bala, 26, wife of Parveen Singh of Nikkian Khour.

She was admitted to the GMC hospital for treatment on May 30, 2008.

Her condition continued to deteriorate and she breathed her last today.

The body after autopsy was handed over to the family members for last rites.

Meanwhile Shagufta Begum, 35, wife of Mohammad Imtiyaz of Gandoh sustained burns at her residence and she was shifted to the GMC hospital for treatment.
