2 run over by train

LUCKNOW, Jun 19 (UNI) Two people died after being run over by the Katiyar-Aitsar bound Aapali Express in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place at Jhilsi railway station late last evening, where the duo alighted from the stationary Gonda-Gorakhpur passenger train.

Police said, the passengers were crushed by the speeding 5707 Aapali Express while they were crossing the railway line.

Incensed over the incident, a mob beat the Jhilsi railway station master black and blue.

A case has been registered in this regard.
