54th National School Games
Mitali declared best player in Sr category KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Dec 29: J&K gymnast Mitali produced yet another dazzling performance to claim as many as four medals in the ongoing 54th National School Games being held at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh from December 25 to 30.
Young upcoming gymnast Mitali was declared as the best player in the Seniors category in the National School Games.
She has claimed three gold and two bronze medals in the competition.
J&K team comprising of Ruhi Saadria, Antriksha, and Mitali won bronze medal.
Mitali won two gold in individual all round, Rope and Hoop events and bronze in Ribbon and team event of senior category of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Mitali won five medals in the recently held Guawahati National Games .
She was be given one lakh cash and honored specially for her outstanding performance by the state government.
Mitali was given title of ‘wonder girl’.
Mitali, attained new heights by becoming the all- round best gymnast of the country, winning gold medals in all the five events in the National Games .
She won gold medals in Hoop, Ribbon, Rope and Clubs events, besides winning the competition for the All Round Best category.
Mitali is being trained by Arjuna Awardee State Sports Council coach Kripulai Singh and her husband SP Singh for the national level competition.
