Acid Rain in eastern India worries residents

KAUSHAMBI, Feb 1 (Agencies): Residents of Kaushambi in India's eastern Uttar Pradesh state are worried as they have been receiving acid rain in the area for the past few days.

The stinking, yellow coloured rain has been giving nightmares to the residents of the area.

According to the local people, they have been receiving this rain mostly during the night and some times during the day as well.

While people are full of all kinds of apprehensions, researchers explain this as a natural phenomenon called acid rain.
