MUMBAI, Aug 24 (UNI): Bollywood actor Aditya Panscholi, accused of slapping a neighbour over a car parking issue in his housing colony in suburban Andheri, was granted anticipatory bail by a local court today.

Additional Sessions Judge S P Nikam said that the police should release him on bail of Rs 20,000 even if he was arrested.

The actor was asked to appear before the Versova police for a month on every Monday between 1600 to 1800 hrs.

A month later, if necessary, he could move a regular bail, the judge added.

According to the police, a guest of Panscholi had parked his car in a slot allotted to a resident Pratik Pashine on August 20.

Finding his slot occupied, Pashine parked his car behind the guest's car.

While the guest requested Pashine to remove his car, Panscholi allegedly abused and slapped him.

A complaint has been lodged with the Versova police by Pashine in this regard.
