TBILISI, June 13 (Reuters): A Georgian air force instructor and a cadet died today when their plane crashed during a training flight outside the capital, Imedi TV channel reported.

Imedi ran images of the wrecked light, single-engine plane, saying that an engine failure could have caused the accident near the Natakhtari airfield, some 25 km west of Tbilisi.

Officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
