Arrest Shahi Imam for supporing Taliban

NEW DELHI, Oct 10 (UNI) The All India Hindu Mahasabha today criticised Jama Masjid Shahi Imam Maulana Ahmed Bukhari for his anti-national statements and demanded that the government should immediately arrest him.

Mahasabha national secretary Munna Kumar Sharma condemned Mr Bukharis statement calling upon Indian Muslims to support the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden saying it was anti-national and meant to vitiate communal harmony in the country.

His statement terming describing as Jehad and the Taliban and Bin Laden as Islams messiahs were against the countrys interests, he said.
