Babu Singh favours autonomy to J&K

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Feb 18: Minister of State for finance Jitendra Singh alias Babu Singh clarified that he didn't seek independence but autonomy for entire J&K state and he was misconstrued by the media persons.

While talking to media persons at Gurdaspur he had favoured reunification of erstwhile J&K and its creation as a confederation between India and Paksitan.

He said that foreign affairs and defence should be handled jointly by India and Pakistan to guarantee full autonomy to J&K.
