Baramulla takes on Srinagar in U-19 final

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 13: Srinagar district team will take on hosts Baramulla in the Under-19 years Inter District Handball tournament being played at Degree College Baramulla in Kashmir.

In the first semifinal match, Srinagar district team had routed Pulwama by 11-9 goals and booked its place in the final.

Hosts team outplayed Bandipora 2-0.

Baramulla team converted both goals in the last moment of the match.

In the Under-17 years age group, Kargil district team trounced 3-2 goals.

In the second match, Baramulla defeated Budgam 8-3.

In the semifinal match, Baramulla become the first team to get its place in the finals by outplaying Kargil by 5-2.

In the second semifinals, Pulwama drubbed Budgam by 6-5 goals.

In the Under-14 age group, the first semifinal match was played between Baramulla and Budgam.

Later won the match by 11-6.

Budgam got berth in the final on better goal average basis.

The details: Under-19: Bandipora beat Anantnag 4-1.

Srinagar beat Anantnag 9-6.

Baramulla beat Pulwama.

Under-17 : Baramulla defeat Srinagar 11-0.

Budgam beat Kargil 8-1.

Leh defeat Srinagar 9-6.

Pulwama beat Leh 10-7.

Under-14: Baramulla beat Pulwama.
