BSNL employees for coordination committee
KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, June 11: At a joint meeting of three registered unions of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) employees a co-ordination committee was formed.
The three registered unions are BSNL Employees Union, National Union of BSNL workers and BSNL Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh.
It was decided that the co-ordination committee would comprise of nine members with three members each coming from all the three Unions.
It was also decided that all the Unions and members would have equal status in the co-ordination committee.
The meeting decided that the decision taken by the coordination committee would be binding on all the constituents of the co-ordination committee.
It was decided that the expenditure incurred on the activities of the co-ordination would be equally born by the constituents of the committee.
A finance committee was also set up on this occasion which will look after the financial matters of the committee.
It was also decided that the management would be intimated about the formation of the co-ordination committee.
Nazir Ahmad Dar was made as the chairman of the co-ordination committee while as Bashir Ahmad Khan was made by the member (finance).
