BSNL plea to senior applicants

KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Feb 16: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Kashmir has asked the senior applicants to submit the required documents within 15 days to enable the department approve and register their demand for telephone connection under special category.

The step has been taken in view of the pending incomplete cases of senior citizens for last seven years.

Those applicants who fail to complete their formalities within stipulated time will be deleted from the waiting list.

3 valley girls missing KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Feb 16: Three girls belonging to the Srinagar district have gone missing since Sunday morning.

A local news gathering agency while quoting police sources has said that the 15 year old Aaliya and 13 year old Asma daughters of Mohammad Amin Mughloo resident of Surateng along with Nazia daughter of Bashir Ahmad Sofi resident of Natipora had gone to the shrine of Makhdoom Sahib and did not return .

Police station Rainawari has lodged an FIR in this regard and have launched a manhunt so that the missing girls are traced.

The relatives of the girls have expressed apprehensions about their safety.
