Carjacker gang busted, 3 cars recovered

NEW DELHI, Jan 20 (UNI): Delhi Police today claimed to havebusted a gang of carjackers with the arrest of four of itsmembers.

"Sehnawaz Khan alias Babloo (28), his nephew Noreen alias Mamu (19), Nizam (26), all residents of Uttar Pradesh and Naresh Kumar alias Kake (28) were nabbed from R K Puram area on the complaint of one Saket Jain after they took away his car," Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H G S Dhaliwal said.

Interrogation revealed that the gang was involved in several cases of carjacking in Delhi and the NCR.

Police also recovered two Skoda cars, a Tata Indica car, four mobile phones and a bunch of keys from the accused.

Efforts were on to arrest their associates.
