CVSA seeks abolition of ALC category

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 18: Chenab Valley Students Association (CVSA) has demanded immediate abolition of ALC category and hostel facility for colleges in three districts namely Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar.

In a statement issued here today, Nisar Ahmed Gattoo expressed serious concern over poor literacy rate in district Doda.

He added that Degree College Doda is a living example discriminatory attitude of the government towards the district.

He added that college is yet to be given a permanent principal while most of the staff is working on adhoc basis.

CVSA has sought creation of state of art libraries, laboratories and providing internet facility to the college.

Bakhtiyar Tak, Munneb Ummer, Usman Hashmi, Saqib Isaq, Zuhaib Patigaroo and Ishfaq Gattoo were also present.
