Discrimination alleged in transfers
KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May14: United Diploma Engineers Welfare Forum has criticized the government order dated May 13 in which members alleged that "nepotism" and discrimination was rampant in the posting and transfers of the junior engineers.
In a meeting members alleged that most of the junior engineers who have completed more than three years tenure have been left out whereas premature junior engineers have been transferred on their choice of place of postings directly to the section and with the divisions.
They added that the order is an example of favouritism and nepotism which shall be checked and clear guideline shall be adopted in the transfers of junior engineers.
They members appealed o the Chief Minster Ghulam Nabi Azad and Minster for PHE Mohammad Dilawar to intervene in the matter.
