Distt Srinagar Cycle Polo C’ship concluded

Greenland Education Institution decared over all champion.

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Oct 8: The District Srinagar Cycle Polo Championship, organised by the J&K Cycle Polo Association was concluded today at Islamia Collage Srinagar.

Around 15 teams took part in different age groups in the two days competition.

Altaf ull Rehman Physical Director of the collage was chief guest on the occasion and and gave away the prizes.

On the occasion an exhibition match was played between Vertern Polo players and National XI which ended in draw by 2-2.

Asil was declared best polo player of the championship in the senior section while as Aquib named as best player in junior section.

The final selection for the state championship was also done during the championship which will be held in the next month.

The championship was organised by the J&K Cycle Polo Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.

The details: In sub junior;- Elities Public School Nishat beat Mehboob Public School Batamaloo 6-5.

Shaheen Public School beat Green land School 3-2.

Junior ;- Green Land Edu Instt beat V.B.S 4-2 .Mehboob Public School beat Fort City club 5-3.

Senior : Green Land Edu Instt beat Hussani Polo Club 7-3.
