Enhancement of wages for labourers urged

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 23: Mazdoor Dastkar Union has demanded the enhancement of daily wages of the labourers to Rs 200 per day.

The demand was raised in a press conference here today addressed by its president T R Panotra, who demanded Rs 50,000 to those who have mud houses and to allot shops to all the people of Dastkar community at the road side from Lakhanpur to Srinagar on minimum rates.

He urged that people who have taken loans from various banks should be given subsidy of rupee one lakh.
