Former minister urges Azad to fill up vacant posts
KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Dec 9: Senior PDP leader and former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir has asked the chief minister to fill up the vacant posts which have been referred to State Public Service Commission.
In a statement he said that government had decided to fill up the vacant posts within 3 months but even after lapse of 5 months there is no headway on this front.
However, Mir welcomed the proposal of chief minister that all the proposed civil works including hospital will be completed within a span of 18 moths.
Horticulture development schemes reviewed KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Dec 9: Director Horticulture, Jammu M S Qasba reviewed the progress of developmental schemes including Technology Mission Programme (MM-II) in a meeting attended by the chief horticulture officers of Jammu division.
Various technical issues related to successful plantation were discussed and it was stressed that the plantation in Madwah, Dachan and Warwan be completed before snowfall.
CHO Doda was directed to get the fruit plant material lifter from Govindpura-Ramban for its plantation in these areas and Director Horticulture further stressed upon the officers to enforce punctuality in the sub-ordinate offices and improve work culture.
