Geelani critical of floating road maps on Kashmir
KT NEWS SERVICE SOPORE, Jan 12: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani today said the road maps by separatist groups and talks with government of India are aimed at gaining power and forming government in the state.
Addressing a public meeting here, he said the separatist groups with their road maps and talks are strengthening the Indian interests and causing confusion among the people.
Geelani observed that neither India nor Pakistan can claim that Kashmir issue has been solved.
"Kashmir is a disputed issue and is yet to be resolved," he said.
The Hurriyat (G) chairman ridiculed the government claim that situation has improved in Kashmir.
