GGM SC College (M) thrashes DC Udhampur by 115 run

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Oct 31: GGM Science College has registered a facile 115 run win over Degree College Udhampur in the Inter-Collegiate cricket tournament match, which was played at Campus cricket field here today.

GGM Science College, skipper won toss and opted to bat has set a target of 248 in 38.3 overs.

As many as 71 extras were given by Degree College Udhampur, which helped the team to reach 248.

Sunil Sharma played an excellent knock of 64 from 56 balls (9x4,1x6) Manjeet Kumar made quick 50 off 51 balls with the help of five fours and one six.

Rohit Khajuria scored 22 off 20 balls in which he hits two fours and one six.

Sushial Dogra from Degree College Udhampur was the most successful bowler with four wickets in 8 overs.

Sachdev Singh and Anil Kumar got two wickets each.

In reply, Degree College Udhampur were bundled out on 133 run in 30.5 overs.

They have lost this match by 115 run.

Ajay Sharma (33), Amit Sharma (36), Pervez (18), Arvind (12) were the leading scorers of the team.

For GGM Science College (M) Sahil claimed four wickets for 22 .

Sunit secured two, while Manjeet and Sourav shared one wicket each.

GGM Science College won the match by 117 runs.

Sahil Malhotra was declared man of the match.

Vijay Dogra, Ranjay Sharma, Vikrant Singh were the officials of the match.

Tomorrow fixture: KC Law College will meet with MAM College (E).
