Girl killed in valley violence

KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Feb 18: One girl was killed while a security force official was injured in different militant related incidents across Kashmir during the last 24 hours.

Police said that militants last night shot dead an 18-year old girl at Arwa, Beerwa in Budgam district.

Identified as Haleema, she was shot dead after militants barged into her house and fired indiscriminately.

In another incident, ultras lobbed a grenade at a naka party of security forces at Chandhar, Pampore causing injuries to one security force personnel.

He has been shifted to hospital.

Security fores recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunitions from different hideouts raided during the last 24 hours across Kashmir.
