Head Constable injured in explosion
KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Aug 17: A Head Constable of Jammu & Kashmir Police was injured in suspicious explosion.
Reports said that the engine of the Police Control Room vehicle which he was driving burst accidentally abruptly at Balole nallah near Kunjwani today.
The injured cop has been identified as Head constable Hazoor Singh, 52, son of Amlook Singh resident of Digiana.
He sustained injuries at his eyes as the pieces of front glass of the vehicle hit him when all of sudden the engine burst causing big bang.
However, the word of blast in police vehicle spread in the area which created panic among the locals.
Senior Police officer when contacted said that the tyre of the police gypsy burst causing minor injuries to the driver.
They denied on any explosion in the vehicle.
Some reports said that the driver was carrying certificates of 12 bore guns which exploded causing injuries 15 drivers.
