IG Jammu visits Sodhi's residence

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 14: Inspector General of Police K Rajendra Kumar visited the residence of Ashok Sodhi photojournalist today who lost his life in an encounter at Samba on Sunday while performing his professional duties.

Kumar expressed sympathy with the family members of the deceased and said that commitment of Ashok will always remember.

He assured the family members that police department will render all necessary help to them.

He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

The IGP was accompanied by SSP Jammu Alok Kumar, SSP PCR Shakeel Ahmed Beig and SO to IGP Sunil Dutt.

All the Associations of Medical employees of Doda under the banner of JK Medical employees Federation held a condolence meeting to condole the demise of Shashi Bala and her husband Hoshiyar Singh Sambyal.

Speaking on the occasion, Amjad Ali Shokeen said that the work of Shahsi Bala never be forgotten and recalled his association of Bala with the medical association he said that she always worked for the downtrodden and poor and gives her valuable time to the association also.

Nature Human Centric Peoples Movement condoled the demise of civilians who killed on Sunday at Samba.

Members observed two minutes silence and prayed to God to give courage to the family members of the deceased to bear this irreparable loss.
