Inclusion of Labanas in OBC category welcomed

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Aug 22: President All J&K Labana Welfare Sabha, RS Pura, S Suchet Singh has extended gratitude to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and other cabinet other ministers for inclusion of Labana community in the category of Other Backward Classes (OBC).

Among other members of Sabha, who have extended their gratitude included, Satpal Singh, Santokh Singh, Joginder Singh, Sardar Singh, Onkar Singh, Partap Singh, Rewail Singh, Darshan Singh, Mangta Singh, Daleep Singh, Jawar Singh, Sangat Singh, Prof Sham Singh and Kulwant Singh.

All J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, OBC Cell, Madan Lal Kashyap has also hailed the decision taken by the Chief Minister and cabinet for including Labana community in the category of Backward Classes.

He also expressed hope that the present government would give due justice to other socially and educationally backward classes by rationalizing the quota of reservation.
