Jammu gynaecologist inducted into IMS council

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Feb 11: Dr.

Sudhaa Sharma, a noted gynaecologist from government medical college, Jammu has been awarded the distinction of being included in the 12 member national governing council of Indian Menopause Society (IMS).

This was declared during the annual conference of IMS held at Kolkata on February 7 and 8, 2004.

All the activities of IMS in the country including scientific deliberations, awareness lectures, newsletter, CMEs and other dimensions related to Menopause are governed by National Governing council of IMS.

National Governing council also endorsed the Jammu chapter of IMS and appreciated the efforts of Dr.

Sudhaa in developing this chapter.

Sudhaa shall be the head of this newly formed IMS at Jammu.

Sudhaa also had the invitation to chair an important scientific session alongwith Prof.

(Dr.) Ashok Mondol, Head department of Gynae & Obst, R.G Kar Medical College, Kolkata during conference.
