Jawan injured in mine blast

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, June 10: An army havaldar was injured in a landmine blast in Suchetgarh area of RS Pura Sub Sector here last evening.

The injured jawan has been identified as Havaldar Kesar Singh.

He was engaged in the demining operation in the forward area near Suchetgarh Border Out Post (BOP).

He accidentally stepped over a land mine and lost his foot in an explosion.

The injured jawan was admitted to the Army Hospital for treatment.
