JKACCL, NSD workshop in GCW Gandhi Nagar
KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 12: With an objective to provide expertise in various aspects of theatrical skills, the J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in association with the National School of Drama organized a theatre Workshop in Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar.
The workshop was inaugurated by Minister for Social Welfare, Abdul Gani Vakil.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Secretary JKAACL, Rafiq Masoodi, Principal of the college, Dr Veena Gupta and instructor of the workshop, Mushtaq Kak.
In his key note address chief guest lauded the efforts of the academy for organizing the workshop and encouraged the students to avail them of the opportunity.
Earlier while giving his inaugural remarks, Masoodi said that a similar kind of workshop is going on in Kala Kendra also.
He said that such workshops are aimed at hunting the hidden talent among the youth.
The function was attended by staff besides students of the Degree College.
