JKRA welcomes Dar’s appointment as director

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Sept 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) has welcomed the appointment of G M Dar, who recently took over as new director, Youth Services and Sports as well as Secretary, J&K State Sports Council.

In a handout issued by JKRA treasurer while welcoming Dar’s appointment said, “We hope that Dar will bring in his years of experience to uplift the sports sector of the state.

He will also be able to solve reconstitution of Sports Council, which is lying in the court of law.

Having served 33 years as gazetted officer in the department, Dar can better understand the problems being faced by the players." The JKRA hoped that Dar’s appointment will begin a new era in the sports history of the state.
