JU students attend meet in Patiala

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 17: The department of Punjab Historical Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala organized 40th conference from March 14 to 16.

The theme of the conference was 'Studies in Punjab History: issues and prospects'.

Jaspal Singh vice chancellor of university delivered the welcome address.

Sukhdev Singh Dinsda, Member of Parliament, inaugurated the conference.

Navtej Singh was the director of conference.

The delegates from University of Jammu also attended the conference and contributed their research papers.

Gurcharan Singh from Jammu University presented his paper entitled 'Reflections of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji contributions' in which he deals with the every aspect of life of Nanak Dev and his message towards the human society.

Delegates from various PG Departments of Jammu University presented their papers in the conference.

Besides research scholars, those who presented their papers included Dr.

Sharda Sharma, Madhulika Singh and Dr.

Harinalini Atsey.
