Jugal discuss revival of Panthal Magnesite project

Jugal Kishore Sharma today discussed the modalities for the revival of the project with the Chairman cum Managing Director National Mineral Development Ltd, .

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister assured all possible help from the government to make the project functional.

Appreciating the proposal of Chairman NMDC for reviving the project, he said that the project would generate employment for the local youth and other deserving persons who are technically trained.

He laid stress on starting the project at the earliest and adopt Panthal village for creating infrastructural facilities in the field of health, education and social services for the development of the area just as other corporations are doing in other parts of country.

The Chairman NMDC apprised that mining work will be started within 2 months and sought the support of Minister for the development of road.

He further said that 5 percent of the project will be earmarked for the development of village and other social works with other facilities also provided by the corporation for the upliftment of village like construction of Community Hall, school buildings, hospital etc.
