Kidnapped girl recovered

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 17: Police claimed to have arrested two youth and recovered a girl which was allegedly kidnapped by them from Samba district.

Police have arrested both the accused from Digiana area of Jammu and rescued the girl from their clutches.

Police reports said on March 15, 2008 Mohinder Kumar, son of Mool Raj of Sarada Ghagwal district Samba lodged a written report in Police Station Samba stating that his daughter Renu Devi student of 11th Class of Bablu Vidya Peeth Schooi Koota Morh today left for school and has not returned.

On further enquiry he came to know that his daughter has been kidnapped by Rohit Singh alias Sonu, son of Karan Singh of Chann Khatrian, Hiranagar and Balkar Singh alias Bunty, son of Joginder Singh of Dassian.

Based on the complaint, police said that a case FIR number 54 of 2008 under s'ection 363A and 109 RPC was registered in Police Station Samba.

After the registration of case, police swung into action and was able to arrest both the accused and recovered the abducted girl from Digiana Jammu during the wee hours yesterday.
