Lunar eclipse on Oct 3

KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Sep 26: The Meteorological department, Srinagar today informed that a lunar eclipse will occur on Monday, October, 3, 2005.

A spokesman of Met department said that the eclipse will be visible in India as partial eclipse.

"It will occur in the afternoon and the general visibility of the eclipse will be in the eastern Green Land, Iceland (Europe), Africa except the southern tip, Western Asia.

The visibility time will begin (1620.3 hrs IST) and will end (1701.1 IST).
