MOS Education's surprise inspection

KT NEWS SERVICE BARAMULLA, Mar 15 : The Minister of State for Education, Dr.

Ghulam Nabi Lone here today inspected a number of educational institutions, government offices and hospitals at Baramulla, Sopore, Delina and Sangrama.

The Minister inspected Degree College Baramulla, High School and Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla, Girls and Boys Higher Secondary Schools Delina, Middle School Lalad, Girls Primary School, Amargarh, Boys Middle School Chunad, Sub- office Board of School Education Baramulla and Revenue and Agriculture offices at Sangrama.

Lone also inspected DIET, Court Complex and proposed site for Women's College at Sopore.

During the course of inspection to various schools, the Minister interacted with the students and enquired about library and laboratory facilities available in these institutions.

While talking to teaching staff in educational institutions, Dr.

Lone stressed for observing punctuality in attendance adding that delinquent teachers will have to face the consequences.

During inspection of DIET at Sopore, the Minister was informed about the orientation programmes under progress in the institution.
