New premises for JRB Dayala Chak

KT NEWS SERVICE KATHUA, May 2: The Jammu Rural Bank (JRB) branch at Dayala Chak district Kathua has been shifted to its new premises.

As per a press release, the new branch office was here today inaugurated by its chairman O P Sharma, who in his speech informed that Bank has been operating in in five districts of Jammu province having a network of 91 branches with total business of more than 950 crores.

He again said with a purpose of improving customers services, Bank has already initiated process of computerization and added that B O Dayala Chak will also be computerized soon.

Earlier, branch manager of B O Dayala Chak Sat Pal Choudhary welcomed the guests and gave detail of the credit card schemes, formers club.

Logs seized KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 2: Police claimed to have recovered a dump of 44 illegal logs from the possession of a local in Doda district.

Police reports said that based on a tip off, police raided the residence of Hans Raj, son of Kunj Lal resident of Bhella Thathri and recovered 44 logs.

"The wooden logs included 20 of 'Deodar' and 24 of 'Kail' while the accused was absconding, reports added." A case FIR number 28 of 2008 under section 379 RPC and 6 Forest Act has been registered in Police Station Thathri in this connection.
