One arrested for pornographic CDs

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 15: Gangyal police today arrested a video parlour owner and recovered 15 ponographic Compact Disks (CDs) from his possession.

The arrested vide parlour owner has been identified as Vikram Singh, son of Moti Singh of Gangyal.

He was running a video parlour in a kiosk at Gangyal.

Police recovered 15 pornographic CDs from his shop.

A case has been registered against him.

IGP Traffic suspends ZTO KT NEWS SERVICE RAMBAN, Mar 15: Following road mishap near Ramban and widespread resentment among locals, IGP Traffic Ram Lubaya has placed Zonal Traffic Officer (ZTO) under suspension.

Reports said to calm down the situation IGP Traffic ordered suspension of the zonal traffic officer.

It is pertinent to mention here that due to overloading in commercial passenger vehicles, this was the third major mishap in recent times in Ramban tehsil.

People of the area time and again have alleged that traffic authorities seldom keep a check on overloading in passenger vehicles, which increases the risk of mishaps on treacherous and dilapidated roads in Ramban tehsil.
