Para-medico held for helping militants

KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Feb 4: Police have arrested a medical assistant from Lolab valley for reportedly treating some of the wounded militants recently.

He has been identified as Abdul Ahad Ganai of Sogam village.

SSP Kupwara confirming the arrest said the medical assistant is being questioned following disclousures of Farooq Ahmad, who was arrested when six militants were killed in an encounter recently.

He has said the medical assistant has adminstrated some injections to some of the militants who were injured in the encounter.

"We are just questioning him", the police officer said.
