PCC leaders meets minister

Border area problems' highlighted KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 10: A deputation under the leadership of Pawan Raina, vice-president, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) today met Minister of State for Revenue and Finance, Prem Sagar Aziz.

He apprised him about various problems being faced by the people from border areas Non-provident funds to those farmers whose lands fall under the mine area, accommodations for the Patwaries and Naib Tehsildars, construction of dispensaries and children's parks were the problems discussed.

The deputationists demanded early redressal of West Pakistan Refugees issue.

Minister gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their genuine problems will be solved soon.

Others who accompanied the deputation included, Rajinder Singh Pinky, Pankaj Chibber, Bachan Lal, Ashok Bhagat, Bachan Saini, Tufail Hussain, Mool Raj, Manga Ram, Gurmeet Singh besides others.

Ousted employees demand absorption KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 10: A deputation of ousted C-IV employees of Excise and Commercial Taxes department headed by president of association, Adil Rashid Khan met president of Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and State Transport Minister Hakem Mohd Yaseen today.

During the meeting, employees discussed their demands for absorption and regularisation.

Rain affected areas problems discussed KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 10: A meeting was held under the banner of Saryara Sabaha, Bahu Fort, here to discussed and take stock of the damaged caused by the incessant rains.

Members visited affected areas like, Old Fort, Kasim Nagar and Kalka Colony and appealed to the administration to provide necessary facilities to the affected people.

Those who attended the meeting included, Vidaya Lal, Surinder Kumar, Banarsi Lal, Bahadur Lal, Parshotum Lal and Suriender Patyal.
