Private petrol dealers observe strike in Jammu
JAMMU, June 20 (UNI) A complete strike was observed by about 100 private petrol pumps across Jammu region in response to a nationwide strike call by petrol dealers, demanding an increase in commission from 1.59 per cent to five per cent.
The call for strike was given by Federation of All India Petroleum Traders.
"The strike is total and all the private petrol pumps across Jammu region are closed," said Praveen Singh, an office-bearer of Jammu Petrol Dealers' Association.
