Progress on roads construction in Doda reviewed

KT NEWS SERVICE DODA, Jan 12: District Development Commissioner, Saurabh Bhagat reviewed the physical and financial progress of PMGSY road of district Doda.

He directed superintending engineers PMGSY Batote to deposit the entire amount of land compensation with the collectors so that the possession of land under acquisition is handed over to PMGSY authorities.

It was decided that the PMGSY shall pay the compensation of forestland and forest trees directly to the Forest Department and the compensation of land structures and fruit bearing trees to the collectors.

The DDC laid much stress on the engineers of PMGSY to finalize the work of joint inspections and demarcation of road alignments of the remaining roads and start the acquisition work.
