Prostitution racket busted, 9 arrested from Sant Nagar

New Delhi, Feb 6 (UNI): Nine persons, including seven women, have been arrested on charges of prostitution from Sant Nagar area in South Delhi.

Police said the arrests were made yesterday in a raid at a flat in Sant Nagar, where the lady kingpin was running the racket with the help of one of her sons.

The lady would get customers through a friendship club in the same area which put advertisements in leading national dailies of the Capital.

She would employ girls on menial jobs and later lure them into the flesh trade with enticing offers.

The girls charged between Rs 1,000 and 5,000, police added.
