PTU announces commencement of admission session

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jun 7: Softlab Computer Institute, Gandhi Nagar an authorized learning centre of Punjab Technical University (PTU) has announced the commencement of admission for the session 2008 in various professional and technical courses like BSCIT, BBA, BCA, PGDBM, MBA, MCA and MSCIT.

The announcement was made in a press conference here today by its Director Academic Affairs Sorabh Gupta.

Briefing media persons, he informed that the various courses offered by the PTU are UGC and DEC approved and claimed that the Institute also makes special efforts for the placement of students in banks and MNCs.

He informed that this time Institute is focussing on overall growth of students by offering them packages.

Later, he also informed that handicapped students would be offered scholarship upto 50 percent at the time of admission.

The press conference was also addressed by Gaurav Gupta Centre Director and Harbans Singh Director Administration.
