ReT 3rd teachers seek pay parity

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 15: Rehber-e-Taleem recruits as third teacher in government schools have demanded basic pay at par with regular teachers.

As per a press release, a meeting of ReT 3rd Teachers Association subdivision Nowshera was held at Sunderbani under the chairmanship of Bikram Singh president.

Besides discussing the problems being faced by them, they resolved to approach government to pay heed to their problems pertaining to salary, leave and other benefits.

They demanded immediate regularisation of ReT teachers and expressed anguish over the regularisation after five years.

Meanwhile, a committee of ReT teachers was formed with Bikram Singh as president and Gur Bachan singh as vice president.
