Samba killings condemned

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 14: Anchal Singh Manhas, president, Taxi Operators Union chaired a meeting to pay homage to Ashok Sodhi, photojournalist, who was killed in an encounter at Samba.

They strongly condemned the terrorist attack in which security personnel and innocent people lost their lives and many were injured.

Manhas appealed to the state and central government to take strong action against terrorist acts to ensure a peaceful tourist season.

He said that terrorism has hit the transport industry badly and the state government has failed to address its needs.

Members of Jammu Province Tourist Taxi Operators Federation and All drivers/Owners Taxi Operators Federation participated.
