Sonia, Mulayam discuss seat sharing in UP
NEW DELHI, Mar 1: Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav along with party General Secretary Amar Singh here this evening held talks with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on the seat sharing in Uttar Pradesh for the coming Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting lasted for about an hour.
However, the two leaders left the 10 Janpath without speaking to the waiting mediapersons about the outcome of the talks.
The Congress is demanding 25 of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state, but the SP is reluctant to concede that number.
