Star TV crew escapes attack

RANCHI, Feb 15 (UNI): A TV team from a private news channel escaped unhurt when unidentified miscreants fired at them in a jungle in between Simdega and Kalibera in Jharkhand this morning.

IG (operation) R C Kaithal said the miscreants fired on the vehicle in which the Star TV team was proceeding for poll coverage.

The front glass of the vehicle was damaged in the incident.

However, no one was injured, he said.

Investigations were on to nab the miscreants.
