Strike call disowned
KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Mar 2 : Almansoorain has disowned the general strike call for March 1 and 2, said a local news agency KNS.
According to the news agency, a spokesman of the militant organisation Abu Mukhtar said in a statement that Almansoorain does not believe in hartal politics."We have nothing to do with the general strike call given in our name.
The general strike does not exist in our constitution.
Such calls are aimed at damaging the image of Almansoorain but such efforts will not be allowed to succeed", he said.
Omar Mukhtar squarely blamed Indian intelligence agencies for such acts.
In a statement to a local news agency, CNS, Albader Mujahideen has also described as handiwork of Indian intelligence agencies the general strike call given in the name of Almansoorain.
Lashkar-e-Toiba spokesman Abu Huzaifa has hailed Almansoorain for disowning the general strike call.
In a statement to CNS, he said the strike call was given by Indian intelligence agencies and they had used Almansoorain name for it.
The government and its agencies are doing so to divert the public attention." Infact the government has miserably failed to take the people out of present difficulties that is why it is adopting new tricks to save itself from public wrath", he said.
